The St. John’s, Newfoundland office of the law firm McInnes Cooper has been retained to provide legal counsel to Anemos Energy. The firm has a group specializing in renewable energy projects, which has been involved in virtually all aspects of renewable energy project development throughout Atlantic Canada, including wind power, over the past 20 years.

Hatch Acres Inc. will undertake engineering planning and design, balance of plant equipment contract tendering, construction management and commissioning supervision of all Anemos Energy projects. This company has provided consulting engineering services to the energy industry for over 80 years. They have been involved in the design and construction of over 40,000 MW of hydro power projects and over 1700 MW of wind power projects worldwide.

Wind assessment services will be provided by Helimax Energy Inc. The company is a leader in the field of wind energy consulting, with a reputation for reliability and accuracy. They manage the operation of over 130 meteorological towers across Canada and in 20 countries, and have been involved with the development of 1000 MW of operating or signed wind energy projects.

EU Energy plc of the United Kingdom, through its subsidiary DeWind of Germany, will supply its D8.2 wind turbines for each project. DeWind has been involved in the wind energy industry since 1995 and has delivered more than 500 turbines with a total nominal output in excess of 500 MW. DeWind turbines have established a reputation for reliability and productivity in the industry as a result of the company’s focus on advanced design and quality. The D8.2 is rated at 2 MW, and is available with a rotor diameter of 80 m or 90 m and a tower height of 80 m or 100 m.

Project financial analysis will be performed by Ortech Power.  Established in 2000, Ortech has planned, built and operated green generating stations.  The company consists of professional, multi-discipline consultants providing strong project management and project finance skills to the renewable energy industry.
